Civic Integration Exam



Why should you do a Dutch integration exam? A good reason can be to obtain Dutch nationality. But an official exam can also help you to start a study in the Netherlands or to supplement your CV. This way you will find a job faster in a Dutch-speaking company.

Civic integration exam A2
With language level CEFR A2, you master the basic knowledge of the Dutch language. Enough for a daily conversation.

On the DUO website you will find practice exams for writing, writing, listening, speaking and KNM. These exams are very similar to the real exams.

On this website you will find good practice exams for writing and reading. You can also find practice exams for speaking on the YouTube channel.


State exam NT2 program I – CEFR B1
With language level CEFR B1, you have sufficient command of Dutch to start an MBO study or to have a basic conversation at work with Dutch-speaking colleagues.

You can download practice exams for reading, listening, writing and speaking at CEFR B1 from the website of the 'College voor toetsen en examens'. You can also take the reading and listening exams online.


State exam NT2 program II – CEFR B2
With language level CEFR B2, you have sufficient command of Dutch to start a higher professional education study or to have a conversation with your Dutch-speaking colleagues, to give a presentation in Dutch or to lead a team meeting.
